We are a 4 person team all enrolled in Engineering Physics, one of the toughest programs at UBC. It is a fully accredited engineering program under the Faculty of Applied Science and administered by the Department of Physics and Astronomy. It is a five year program with co-op integration where students take courses that prepare them to pursue careers at the leading edge of high-technology, both locally and internationally. After discovering his interest for physics while studying Science during first year, Jason transferred into Engineering Physics to pursue this interest.  He enjoyed the large hands-on aspects of this course that teaches students how to bring ideas on paper to life. Jason played a big role in the fabrication and assembly of the mechanical parts of the robot.

Lilian is an ambitious individual with a passion towards the technology business and hopes to find a start up before graduation. She is currently pursuing a Minor in Commerce and a Minor in Honors of Mathematics during her undergraduate studies at UBC and aims to achieve a MBA degree post graduation. During Lilian’s free time, she develops software applications for personal projects.

David is a motivated student that loves learning, especially in the fields of physics, technology, mathematics, and computer science. In his free time, he enjoys origami, cycling, and programming, and is looking to start a personal mobile app development  project.

David was in charge of the electrical component of the project, designing and making the necessary circuitry for the function of the robot. He also wrote and debugged the navigation and drop-off software for the robot, as well as helping out with the debugging of the acquisition software.

Jamie is an avid tech junkie and enjoys learning about new frontiers of technology and science. He wishes to specialize in the field of medicine either in research or in practice. Jamie is also interested in automobiles and hopes to one day build and restore a project car. Any free time Jamie has is most likely to be spent with family and friends outdoors jogging/hiking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
